Considering that they never got together and broke up on kind of bad terms, i half wonder if she's begrudgingly acknowledging a friend or about to try to replicate one of Kotal Khan's fatalities and squeeze him until his head pops. Because as much as i'd like to think it's the latter because Mako's shit got stale a minute in, they kind of need him alive to destroy Kuvira's Metal Gear.
